What's happening with the club and the courts
A few exciting updates and follow-ups from our Annual Meeting. Thank you to everyone who participated and voted on this year's priorities!
🏓Windscreens Are on the Way!
Based on member feedback, windscreens for the north and south sides of the green courts have been ordered and are expected to be installed by the end of July.
❤️AED Access
Improving player safety remains a priority. The Board is exploring funding and resource options to install an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) closer to the pickleball courts.
🏛️City Update
Thanks to our president, we’re making great progress with the city on how best to utilize all the courts. A quick reminder to all players on the Multi-Sport Courts: when you’re done playing, please move the portable nets off to the side of the courts. And if others (non-members) are playing there, remind them too — graciously, of course.
📣WACC Communication Update
The Board has been working with WACC leadership to improve communication and gain greater clarity regarding facility fees. Below is the updated fee structure for your reference. If you have any questions about the fees, please contact WACC directly.
