About Our Club
Promoting pickleball in Walker, Minnesota since 2013
Our Story
The Walker Area Pickleball Club was established in 2013 by a group of local pickleball enthusiasts. What started as a small group of passionate players has grown into a thriving community of over 180 members.
A significant milestone came in 2024 when, with the support of club and community members, we raised funds to expand our facilities. Today we have 7 dedicated outdoor pickleball courts at Walker City Park, plus 4 sport courts available for tournaments, making it one of the premier pickleball destinations in the region.
Our mission is to promote the enjoyment and benefits of playing pickleball within the Walker community and surrounding areas. We welcome players of all skill levels and ages!
